Dr. Julia Harris

                                             is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, relationship and marital problems, personality disorders, sleep concerns, and general life stressors. Dr. Harris is an integrative psychologist, integrating many evidence-based treatment approaches. She will work with you to identify specific therapy goals and develop an individualized treatment plan based on her expansive knowledge of treatment approaches. She will provide psychoeducation about different therapy modalities that might be suited for you, encouraging you to pick the treatment approach that best fits your needs. Dr. Harris believes that patients should always have the reins in the therapy relationship and places value in meeting her clients where they are in terms of their readiness for change. 

Dr. Harris received her doctoral degree from the University of Utah and has co-authored over 15+ peer-reviewed research papers on suicidal thoughts and behaviors among military members and civilians. She recognizes the specific challenges military members face that often lead to mental health problems and is passionate about helping this population. Dr. Harris was formerly a VA psychologist.
